PARENT EXPERIENCE

Resetting after mistakes. Staying in the match.

Daniel shares that Alex used to become frustrated after mistakes and lose the desire to keep competing when he was tired or behind. Since working with Erika, he has seen Alex learn to calm himself, reset between points, and refocus on what to do next.

Alex also has a clearer understanding of what to eat before, during, and after matches to support his energy.

A PLAYER’S PERSPECTIVE

“I was able to go into each match confident, energized, and excited to compete.”
Olivia – D1 tennis playerTestimonial excerpt

With personalized sports nutrition and mental performance support, Olivia describes feeling more confident, maintaining her energy through demanding tournaments, and enjoying competition again.

Erika built a clear, practical plan around Olivia’s training schedule and individual needs. Through fueling guidance, visualization, and consistent mindset practice, Olivia reported a positive shift in how she prepared for and approached matches.

At a tournament with five matches in six days, she felt energized and excited to compete—even through several three-set matches.

Summary of Olivia’s written testimonial.

A JUNIOR PLAYER’S PERSPECTIVE

“I’ve been working with Erika for about 8 months now and she’s helped me on and off the court. I’ve improved my focus and my mental strength with her help. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am right now.”
Miroslav – Competitive Junior Player, 17 years old

A TENNIS COACH & PARENT’S PERSPECTIVE

“Erika can relate to players and understand what is going on in their game.”
Eduardo JarolimITF Level III tennis coach · Tennis parent

Eduardo highlights Erika’s combination of competitive playing experience, mental performance coaching, and sports nutrition—and the value of a mentor who understands the demands young players face.

Read Eduardo’s full review

Tennis is the hardest sport on the planet. It requires physical endurance, strength, agility, and coordination. On top of that, it requires enormous mental fortitude and emotional control. Miroslav is technically complete and physically gifted; he needed a mentor to provide him with the tools to compete at the highest level.

Miroslav is more aware of the mental side of the game and how much of a role it plays in his tennis.

Erika has a unique perspective on the competitive side of tennis and the importance of mental training and other layers, like sports nutrition. Only a former player with the training experience can understand what young players are going through.

In this day and age, it is very hard to find someone who has the necessary skills for mental training alongside experience as a former player under competitive pressure. Erika can relate to players and understand what is going on in their game.

A COACH’S PERSPECTIVE

“I am extremely confident in referring any tennis players or parents of tennis players to Coach Erika because she has been there.”

Coach Erika has taken a revolutionary approach to both her implementation of sports nutrition and unique practice of mental performance. I have literally never seen a Coach use such outside the box, but incredibly effective techniques and principles to their athletes, and I have been in this game of high performance physical and mental fitness for nearly 30 years!

Coach Erika’s approach is definitely not cookie cutter and she takes into account not only the here and now for performance, health and body composition, but how her athletes will progress to life after sports are finished. Too many coaches in the sports performance space only account for the present, not realizing they are actually setting their athletes up for a big let down once sports are done. Erika’s approach is highly adaptable to the teenage, collegiate and professional athlete both during their prime and in ‘retirement’. Another HUGE aspect that sets Coach Erika apart is that she was a high level, D1 tennis athlete and she has been through the struggles and it was during those struggles that she learned what did not work and what she wanted for her clients in terms of mental health, physical fitness and self-confidence.

The combination of sports nutrition and mental performance go hand in hand for the young tennis player. Once they dial in both, they will no doubt perform consistently at their peak potential. One without the other will always leave a stone unturned and lead to frustration. The way Coach Erika combines these modalities allows one to feed the other, and back and forth. Great nutrition leads to confidence both on the court and off in terms of body image and health and mastering the mental game makes implementation of the nutrition simple and easy. Very few Coaches combine these two aspects and when they do, it’s usually just bland information that doesn’t translate.

I have no doubt that any athletes that works with Coach Erika will see a huge boost in energy, an exponential increase in their mental game and will manifest in a highly performing tennis player. No one is perfect all the time, but when the body, mind and energy are enhanced through these highly effective trainings and strategies, any ‘low’ can easily be overcome and will be short lived.

To any parents out there, I can confidently say that investing in your child, with the services of Coaching at this level, is one of the best investments you will ever make. Imagine not only giving your child/daughter the gift of knowing that they developed their capabilities to the fullest, knowing there were no regrets and also giving them the gift of having the foundation to not suffer with body image issues like so many women athletes do, both during their playing days and after. I have 4 children and making sure they have the best Coaches/mentors is the best investment I make, bar none!

I am extremely confident in referring any tennis players or parents of tennis players to Coach Erika because she has been there. She speaks from personal experience and is also the ultimate student, testing her theories, getting the results and she knows everything that does not work, which alone is worth its price in gold. I know Coach Erika will not only be a world class Coach to any tennis players, but she will be the mentor that we all wish had!!!

01 / THE EXPECTATION

“I’m supposed to win.”

A lower-ranked opponent. A parent watching. Suddenly, every missed ball feels bigger than it is.

02 / THE SPIRAL

One bad point becomes five.

The last mistake follows them into the next rally. They know they need to reset—but don’t have a routine they trust.

03 / THE ENERGY DIP

Is it focus—or fuel?

Match-day food and hydration deserve a place in the conversation about energy, decision-making, and consistency.

BEFORE WE TALK

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Does this replace my player’s tennis coach?

No. This adds sports nutrition and mental performance support alongside their existing tennis development.

Do you work with the player or the parent?

Private coaching is player-focused. Parents can support the process by helping the player practice routines and follow through with fueling plans.

What is EFT?

EFT uses tapping on specific points alongside focused language. Erika uses it as one mental performance tool to work with match-related stress and self-talk. It is not a substitute for mental health care.

Is this a fit for every junior player?

It is designed for competitive players and families willing to practice the tools between sessions. The free 20-minute call helps clarify your player’s needs and whether we’re a good fit.
